Project Overview

Chirano Gold Mines Limited (CGML) commissioned Knight Piésold to carry out the detailed design of a Stage 7 Raise to the existing Tailings Storage Facility 1 (TSF 1) at the Chirano Gold Mine. The raise is to crest elevation 2312.0 m RL, which is a 7 m raise from the current crest elevation of 2305 m RL. The Stage 7 Raise storage capacity is estimated to be approximately 7.07 Mt, which is approximately two years of storage at 3.5 Mtpa.
