Ben Green is a Senior Hydrogeologist based in Knight Piésold’s Vancouver office. He has 20 years of geological experience, specializing in mine hydrogeology and groundwater management, in particular mine dewatering and slope depressurization. Since completing his master’s degree in hydrogeology, he has contributed to a wide range of mining-related groundwater and geotechnical investigations and feasibility studies for both underground and open pit mines in many different countries and diverse environments.
Ben has operational hydrogeological experience in open pit and underground operations. He has led and supported interdisciplinary project teams in hydrogeological characterization studies, permafrost and talik delineation, water supply investigations, and numerical modeling. Ben works closely with Knight Piésold’s geotechnical group in developing dewatering solutions and depressurization input to slope design.
