Raymond Dorow is a Senior Project Engineer based in Knight Piésold’s Denver office. He has over 12 years of experience in key management and technical functions on civil and geotechnical projects during both pre-construction and construction phases. He has been the project manager and engineer responsible for detailed design and construction of key civil infrastructure facilities, including waste management facilities, water reservoirs, roads, diversion channels, and ancillary facilities for overall project operation.
He has planned and maintained work breakdown schedules, project resources, budgets, and quality while interfacing with clients, sub-contractors, key stakeholders, and project team members. He regularly coordinates and manages work efforts from international offices from initiating and planning through closure stages of projects. His technical involvement with projects has included the preparation of recommendations and specifications addressing grading and foundation type(s), design criteria, pavement construction, and drainage improvements.
Raymond has been involved with slope stability analysis and development of bid documents, capital cost estimates, site material balances, construction drawings and design reports in North and South America, Central and Southern Africa and Russia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
