The Denver office, headquarters of the Knight Piésold USA operations, was established in 1985 and is housed in the 1999 Building in downtown Denver. With access to numerous restaurants, shopping and sporting activities, our location is well-situated to offer any number of amenities, including the beautiful Denver weather, which typically boasts over 300 days of sunshine per year!
We are a diverse and dynamic team of over 50 individuals that come from all over the world to work on innovative projects that we are proud to take part in. While a majority of our work is focused in the mining and power industries, we also provide environmental and mechanical engineering services. In fact, our Denver office has a top-notch geochemistry and water balance team that works in conjunction with Knight Piésold offices all over the world. Moreover, we have a fully functional laboratory, with cutting-edge technology available in order to provide our clients with the most reliable and up-to-date data possible.
The Denver office has a keen interest in not only keeping up with the latest technologies, but in helping to pioneer them as well. Creativity and vision is something we value in addition to knowledge and experience. To this end, we participate in a variety of forums and conferences, and provide our staff with opportunities to publish and present their work.
Because of our diverse and talented team members and access to technology, we are able to provide quality service to clients the world over. Whether it involves mining in cold regions, or hydropower projects in the desert, we get the job done. Our commitment to quality is evident in the repeat business of satisfied clients that trust us to do the job well, and to suggest and employ measures that will improve productivity, cost-efficiency, and safety – because that is what customer focus is about! We care about the projects we take on, and we take care of our clients and team members to the very best of our ability.
Part of that focus involves taking part in the community around us, we participate in charity events and community fundraisers, and contribute to the causes that matter most to our staff. We incorporate an element of fun by organizing summer picnics, ski trips, holiday parties, and after-work sports activities. Here in the building, we have access to a staff fitness room, and a wellness room where we can take time to relax, and de-stress for a few minutes in the middle of a busy day. Maintaining a work-life balance can be challenging at times, but we do what we can to help facilitate that balance.
Our office is fully certified to the ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management standards. These certifications help us to establish the processes that help us navigate projects in an organized and efficient manner that aids in our daily work, and we are proud to maintain that standing.
