Eswatini
Being a landlocked country, water resources management is an area of concern to the Eswatini government. Knight Piésold Eswatini, with support from our offices in South Africa, has been providing engineering services to aid water resources development in the country.
Our Mbabane office worked for two years on the Nhlangano Water Supply Project, which was part of a greater water supply scheme. Our contribution to a phase of the greater water scheme in the Shiselweni region, worth E450m, will help meet the Eswatini government’s goal of attaining 100% potable drinking water for its population by the year 2022. Our abstract design works, in particular, have received acknowledgement from the current king of Eswatini, King Mswati III.
