PEBrett Garland is a Senior Civil Engineer in Knight Piésold’s London office. A registered Professional Engineer, he has over 13 years of experience in design, construction supervision, and dam safety inspections for mine waste facilities in North America, South America, Europe, and Africa. His experience with Knight Piésold includes working out of the Vancouver, Canada and Rivonia, South Africa offices prior to joining the London office.
Recent assignments include the Phase 3 TMF detailed design lead with construction support at the Bisha Zinc and Copper Mine located in Eritrea as well as the Stage 2 Enemossen East TSF raise (detailed design and construction support) at the Zinkgruvan Mine in Sweden. He is identified as the Engineer of Record for the Enemossen East TSF at Zinkgruvan. Included within his current role, Brett undertakes third party dam safety inspections and audits for clients with tailings facilities located globally.
