Paul Heward

Paul Heward is an Executive Project Manager based in Knight Piésold’s Tucson office. He has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of project construction management in civil and mining construction.

His experience includes heavy civil earthworks, concrete construction (headgears, cooling towers, shafts and silos), contract mining, buildings, and road construction. Additional experience includes lined containment systems for tailings storage facilities and heap leach facilities construction, quarrying, crushing, bridge construction (including cast in place, jacked in place, and balanced cantilever construction), slip-form construction of lift shafts, chimney flumes, storage silos, cooling tower construction, and mini-hydroelectric power plants, with hard rock tunneling.

He has experience on four continents, having worked in Europe, Africa, and North and South America. He has a proven track record for forming and controlling integrated teams, with strong team spirit and loyalty in groups of diversely skilled individuals. Paul’s extensive contract experience has allowed him to experience site controls and management, estimating, scheduling, change management, costing, claims, and claim adjudication (owner and contractor).
