P.Eng.Scott Rees is a Senior Engineer based in Knight Piésold’s Vancouver office. He has over 13 years of experience in water resources and hydropower projects in North America and Africa, including project identification, concept development, preliminary engineering, feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction management.
Scott specializes in hydraulic design, energy modelling, optimization studies, and cost estimating. His experience includes cost estimating and review of numerous dam construction projects throughout BC, including tailings and hydropower dams ranging in size and scale from small to extremely large dams that require significantly different construction equipment and methods. Scott is a Professional Engineer with experience on numerous mining, energy, and water resources assignments, including projects in Canada, USA, Mexico, Greece, Zambia, Eritrea, Liberia, South Africa, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
