Project Overview

The Municipality of Keetmanshoop experienced extensive problems with the capacity of the existing bulk sewer network and constant over-spillage of raw sewage in residential areas, which became a major health concern. The client appointed Knight Piésold to investigate and design a practical and workable solution for this problem.

Project Role

Knight Piésold’s overall role was to investigate and determine the required capacity to pinpoint the bottlenecks in the existing network and to design a new bulk sewer line to stop over spillage of raw sewer in residential areas.
