September 12, 2012, Johannesburg, South Africa - Knight Piésold received outstanding recognition on August 17th at the 2011 CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards. The Braamhoek Consultants Joint Venture (BCJV), comprising Knight Piésold, GIBB, and SSI, took home the award in the category of "Engineering Excellence with a value greater than R250 million for the Bedford Dam, part of the Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme. Furthermore, Kayad Knight Piésold took home a commendation for the Demise of the Athlone Cooling Towers for the City of Cape Town.
