Position Summary

Knight Piésold is seeking dynamic, experienced full-stack ColdFusion Developer. This is a mostly remote position and working closely with a small team of developers providing support and services to the global KP Team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams while delivering timely, accurate, and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using ColdFusion (CFML) and related technologies.
• Build and maintain full-stack solutions, including backend services and frontend user interfaces.
• Ensure secure data exchange between systems and applications
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
• Debug and resolve issues related to application functionality, performance, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and system configurations.
• Develop and maintain modern applications and digital tools to support technical and business operations
• Maintain high standards for documentation, code quality, and information security while promoting innovation within the IT team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Advanced level hands-on experience development in ColdFusion (using both CFML and CFCs),
• Solid experience in User Interface design and CSS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 200x as a developer
• Experience with web services and REST (consuming and creating)
• Knowledge of Version Control (SVN, Git)
• Advanced level of JavaScript knowledge using jQuery and jQuery UI
• VB.net experience is a plus
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working with deadlines, changing priorities and in multi-stakeholder project environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Pay and Benefits

The estimated base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 CAD. The salary offered will be dependent on relevant knowledge, experience, and skill level. KP’s total compensation and benefits also includes the following:
