Headquartered in Perth, Knight Piésold Australia focuses on delivering engineering expertise to mining companies globally through our commitment to excellence and innovative design. Our specialised services include geotechnical engineering, geological engineering, water resources engineering, and waste management. We have been responsible for the development of innovative concepts in the field of mine waste management and environmental protection, specifically with respect to tailings disposal systems and heap leach facilities, construction and in-situ testing of soil and synthetic liners, project water management systems, and storage of acid-generating materials.

Our branch office in Brisbane, which was opened in 2008 to serve mining and resource clients in Queensland and Eastern Australia, is working on a wide variety of exciting projects covering a diverse range of commodities, including base metals, precious metals, and bulk commodities with both local and international projects.

Together with the Brisbane office, we employ more than 90 staff from a diverse range of disciplines, including civil and geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, geology, project management, environmental assessment, and technical and administrative support.
