P.Eng.Kevin Davenport is a Senior Engineer based in Knight Piésold’s Vancouver office and has over 10 years of experience working in the mining industry. He is a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia. Kevin specializes in geotechnical instrumentation and performance monitoring for operational mining projects, including tailings storage facilities, open pits, and underground mines. His expertise includes the management of drilling investigations, installation of geotechnical instrumentation, analysis of instrumentation and remote sensing data, site characterization, and development of risk-based performance monitoring programs (QPOs, TARPs, etc.).
Kevin has a foundation of experience working as a field engineer in support of geotechnical and hydrogeological investigation programs. His on-site experience includes geotechnical drilling, seismic cone penetration testing, geotechnical sampling, installation of piezometric and deformation monitoring instrumentation, and implementation of remote monitoring systems.
