June 16, 2022, Vancouver, BC, Canada – Dr. Colin Fyfe has joined Knight Piésold Canada as a specialist hydrogeological engineer to support clients in the mining, water resources, and environmental sectors.

Throughout Dr. Fyfe's 22 years of academic and professional practice, he has gained a broad range of experience on hydrogeology, geotechnical, mining, and civil engineering projects. He has worked on all phases of mining projects, including baseline reporting, environmental assessments, preliminary feasibility, and feasibility studies. His operational experience includes pit dewatering, water management design and implementation, monitoring, permitting, and closure planning. He has also been engaged in third-party reviews and represented government and private industry clients in public hearings. Dr. Fyfe has worked on projects in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia.
